Privacy Policy for FinEd4us

We at SeaPea I LLC, doing business as FinEd4us, ("FinEd4us," "we," "us," or "our") created this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. 

At FinEd4us, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience while using our app. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"), which requires us to inform parents and legal guardians about our information collection and use practices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the mobile application ("app"), you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

Please note that this app is intended for users aged 11 and above. Further, COPPA also requires that we obtain parental consent before we allow children under the age of 13 to access and/or use our Services.  If you are under 13, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the app, and we recommend that parents discuss with their kids restrictions regarding the online release of Personal Information (as defined below) to anyone they don't know.

By visiting our app and/or using our app, or by permitting your child to use our app, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning stated in our Terms of Use.

We do not collect any Personal Information from you unless you voluntarily provide it to us.

If we learn we have collected Personal Information from a User under the age of 13 without parental consent, or if we learn a User under the age of 13 has provided us Personal Information beyond what we request from them, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To identify you when you sign in to your account. 
• To provide and personalize the app’s content and features, including financial literacy lessons, quizzes, and tracking progress.
• To communicate with you, including sending updates, reminders, and support messages related to the app’s features.
• To improve the app by analyzing usage patterns and understanding how users interact with different features.
• To ensure the app is secure and protect against unauthorized access or activities.
• To process authorized payments. 

Please be aware that if you choose to purchase a subscription you will be required to provide us with your payment information, including, without limitation, bank account numbers, credit card or debit card numbers, account details, ACH information, and similar data (collectively, "Payment Information").

We will never share, sell, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not disclose your Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 

We may share your information in the following limited situations:

• With your consent: We may share your information if you provide consent (e.g., sharing achievements on social media).
• Service providers: We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers who help us run the app (e.g., cloud storage, analytics). These providers are bound by contracts to ensure they protect your data.
• Payment Information: We will share your Payment Information with a third-party service provider as necessary to process your payment. The third-party service provider stores your Payment Information; we do not store this information. Storage by the third-party service provider of your Payment Information is subject to the privacy policies and practices of the third-party service provider and is not subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. By providing your Payment Information, you acknowledge and agree to use of such information by the third-party service provider for purposes of processing your payment to us.
• Legal compliance: If required by law, we may disclose your personal information and usage information to government authorities in response to legal processes, such as subpoenas or court orders.  We may also disclose your Personal Information and Usage Information when we have reason to believe that someone is or may be causing injury to or interference with our rights or property, other users of this Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect it from loss, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Additionally, email sent to or from us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may choose to opt out of our sharing their contact information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy online. As noted earlier, the app is designed for users aged 11 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove such information from our records.
